Lender Fees

We have provided information below on fees charged by lenders we advise on. You can find full fee information in the loan contract, and we recommend that you check the fees before accepting a loan offer. You can find information on fees we charge for our services here.
 
We describe the mandatory fees charged by lenders below. Lenders add the establishment fee and the PPSR fee to your loan, in addition to the amount you want to borrow. You are not charged fees if you do not take out a loan. Lenders may also charge you other fees while you have the loan, for example if you repay the loan early or if you default on a loan. We describe some of those fees below. Please note that fees are subject to change. While we endeavour to ensure the information below is current, please refer to your loan contract for full fee information.
 
Establishment Fee: This fee is charged by the lender for processing your loan application.
 
PPSR Fee: This fee is charged by the lender for registering security you provide for the loan on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR). For example, registering a vehicle as security for a vehicle loan. The PPSR Fee charged by lenders we advise on ranges from $6.90 to $14.
 
Monthly Fee: Also known as a Maintenance Fee or Administration Fee. The Monthly Fee is charged by lenders we advise on while you have the loan and ranges from $0 to $9.85.
 
Other Fees: Lenders may charge other fees while you have the loan such as an Early Repayment Fee, Loan Modification Fee and Default Fee. Some lenders provide information on these fees online- click on “Lender Fee Schedule” links below to see each lender’s own fee schedule. Full fee information will be provided in the loan contract.
